At our manufacturing premises in Gloucester valves are tested to assure compliance with specified performance. This approach underpins a long and trouble free operation, and subsequent low cost of ownership. Testing facilities are available to cover the following requirements:
- Hydrostatic testing bay(s) for up to ANSI Class 2500# covering a wide range of end connections
- Pneumatic testing blast bay for up to ANSI Class 2500#
- Seat leakage testing in accordance with ANSI FCI 70-2, all classes
- Functional testing of control valves and all fitted accessories
- Cryogenic testing for temperature ranges of -40ºC to -196ºC using either Dry Ice or Liquid Nitrogen and suitable for valve sizes up to 24”
- Clean and Ultra Clean test rooms specified to Industrial Gas standards
- Facilities for PMI (Positive Material Identification) alloy verification of component parts / sub-assemblies / finished valves
Severn Glocon has an installed flow testing rig for both on-off and control valves at the manufacturing site in Gloucester.
