Transform™ is a key operating tool used by Severn Unival for the symbiotic applications of:

• recording and holding information associated with all valves going through our workshops
• providing clients with detailed, continually updated information on each individual asset of their own valve population.

At its core, Transform is a database that drills down to provide significant depth and breadth of detail on valve populations. It enables clients to track the repair and condition status of individual valves, as well as trends and improvements across the population as a whole. In addition, it holds records for compliance requirements and general information – such as diagnostics reports and test certificates – enabling clients to calendar PMRs and re-calibration more efficiently.

Because it uses a uniform technology, many of the problems associated with ‘paper and pencil’ asset management systems are completely eradicated. The potential for misunderstandings is eliminated, and users can find details quickly and easily through the retrieval system. Transform’s web-based platform enables clients to view images of valves and access up-to-the-minute survey reports enabling better planning of shutdowns, repair and maintenance.
