Andy Woodward has been appointed Performance+ Global Sales Manager at Severn Unival 7th July 2010

His primary responsibility will be driving sales for the Performance+ business unit which comprises a team of expert engineers and technicians. This team is at the forefront of global development in technologies and solutions for the repair and upgrade of severe and critical service valves.

The core industry Andy will focus on is upstream oil and gas. It is his in-depth understanding of offshore and onshore applications, from compressor anti-surge to multi-stage separation, which helped to secure the new role.

Severn Unival’s Managing Director Colin Findlay explains: “Performance+ is a highly-specialised valve services offering which is founded on intelligence-led engineering. It is vital that the division’s sales manager has an appropriate level of expertise and understanding. With his 15 years’ experience in control and choke valves for the oil and gas industry, Andy Woodward was the natural choice.”

Andy will operate at a global level liaising with Severn Glocon Group’s area and country salespeople as well as overseas agents and representatives. He says it is the Group’s proven track record in valve innovation that drew him to the role.
