The Widnes office of Severn Unival has seen a 20% growth in turnover in the past year by emerging into new markets and winning new contracts with customers in the North West.
New contracts wins include Ellesmere Port based specialist oil company Nynas and energy transmission company National Grid.
Severn Unival specialises in valve management and after sales support for all processing industries from oil and gas to pharmaceuticals and food. In the past year, the business has focused on developing its existing customer base by enhancing contacts’ awareness of its full portfolio of engineering services.
The valve specialist has also been promoting its full engineering offering to new customers in the food and pharmaceutical industries. Within these industries valves are used in processed steam procedures, which help to make customer sites more efficient.
Jim Ball, General Manager (Projects) Severn Unival, Widnes, said: “We have had a great year and I believe we will continue to build upon our success. Our customers now appreciate that we are a one stop shop when it comes to valve engineering and we are bringing our expertise and knowledge to new markets.
