Preheater Bypass System
To improve the ef?ciency of a Power Plant, the feed-water ?owing from the feed-water tank into the boiler is heated in a preheater. The preheater is a heat exchanger with feedwater containing tubes are steam wetted from the turbine exhaust.
HP/LP Turbine Bypass System
The Turbine Bypass System covers the range resulting from the operation of a power plant, where the turbine cannot or can only partly absorb the steam produced by the boiler. The Bypass System ensures that the steam passing through it is cooled down and pressure reduced before reaching the re-heater line or the condenser.
Gate Valves
HP gate valves are designed with split wedge or parallel slide trim in accordance with DIN or ASME Standards in order to suit all pressure and temperature ranges. The pressurised body parts consist of forgings for the higher ratings. However cast bodies can be supplied as well
